Jim's Rib Eye on the Bone cooked on the BBQ

Eliza Holt

Posted on January 20 2020

Remove the Rib Eye from the cryovac packaging, rinse under the tap with cool water and pat dry with paper towel.  Place on a plate, season with salt and oregano.  Allow to rest to reach room temperature (up to 30 minutes).

Heat the BBQ for approximately 20 minutes.  Place the Rib Eye onto the hot BBQ, for approximately 6 minutes, and then flip onto the other side for a further 6 minutes.

Remove the Rib Eye, place on a clean plate, cover with foil, and allow to sit inside for 10 to 15 minutes.  Carve, serve, and enjoy!

For those who really love their beef, the beef on the bone is finger licking delicious. You will thank us later!
